Reese’s, Not Enough Pieces

I believe that is should be a standard or mandatory to put 4 cups in the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups “Chocolate bar.” Every time I eat one, I think to myself, Why do I have to go searching for the king-sized version of the peanut flavoured cups?

The first cup is always the best. It has so much flavour! By the time you finish the first, you’re still happy because you have 2 cups left. The second cup seems to be just as good as the first. The chocolate and peanut butter mixing together making an irresistible taste! But here’s the catch! When you reach the third cup, you don’t enjoy it as much. All you are doing is thinking about how it is the last cup and that the great taste is about to end. It seems like 3 cups is never enough because the last one doesn’t really count. So it’s really like having only 2 cups. I believe that this should not be allowed! There should either be 4 cups, like the king-sized version, but it would be the new standard and king-sized would be 5 cups, or they should reduce the size of each cup by a little bit to make up enough for an extra cup. That way, the last cup wouldn’t be wasted! Having that extra cup makes a huge difference in the satisfaction of the bar.

Another reason would be the sharing aspect of the bar. What happens if two people want to go splits on one? The third cup has to be broken in half, which makes the crumbs fall and therefore leads to a waste of peanut butter and chocolate. With four it’s simple! They each get two!
Do I ever think that the day will come when four is the standard? No, at least not in my lifetime. But with a little help things can change! I’m working towards this now so that maybe someday my children, or my grandchildren will be able to enjoy the peanut butter and chocolate bar to its full potential, and be able to share it without any worry of wasting any from the breaking of the cup.
That’s my opinion.
