Well, I was having a nice cup of tea earlier tonight. It was still quite hot though it was left to steep for a while. As I sat down and started to sip the tea, I realized that it was too hot to just grab the side of the cup. Well I thought, "That is what the handle is for!" Yes, maybe so, but they make the handles so close to the cup and so small that it makes it very difficult to grab onto. The only way to actually grab it with some strength is to put your whole fingers up to your knuckles through the handle. Now this does work, and it does provide a decent amount of stability, but then the problem lies in that your knuckles are touching the outside of the cup, which after all this frustration is still too hot!
And so it "Got Me To Thinking,"
Why don't they make a cup with two handles? Now, I know that they do make them, and they are available to buy, but they all seem to be either antiques, or some sort of special collectors or precious item. I just wish they would mass produce that model of cup like they do with the single handle ones. If anything, they could at least make the handle bigger and further away from the cup for the people who may have larger hands!
